Black Afri-can Youth Organization (BAYO)
Black Afri-can Youth Organization (BAYO) is a non-profit organization supporting Black African youth and families in Waterloo Region through culturally responsive programs and services.
Mission: To empower Black youth and families by providing accessible, culturally responsive programs that promote wellbeing, education, and economic opportunity.
Vision: A strong and thriving community where Black youth and families have equitable access to support, opportunities, and resources to succeed.
Programs & Services: Youth wellness and mental health awareness, autism support and family education, career development and employment services for newcomers, and youth leadership initiatives.
