Grief Mural Project

Grief Mural Project

The goal of this project was to create collaborative murals that expressed grief and resilience across diverse cultures and social positions. Led by Marny (Grief Director) and Pamela (Art Director), the initiative partnered with various agencies and hosted community art exhibitions to foster shared understanding and dialogue while bridging linguistic and cultural differences. For children and youth, the program aimed to educate about grief and coping strategies, provide creative outlets for emotional expression, and raise awareness of the diverse ways individuals and cultures experience grief. Additionally, it sought to strengthen community connections, support students in exploring professional opportunities, and highlight the therapeutic benefits of creative expression.
